Material & Build

The strip uses a flexible PCB (Printed Circuit Board) substrate allowing bending and cutting at specified intervals.

The LEDs are mounted on this FPC and protected by a solder mask / adhesive overlay.

Back of the strip generally has a self-adhesive layer (3M or equivalent) for easy mounting on clean, smooth indoor surfaces.

Finish is simple, the strip is not waterproof in the IP20 version, so no silicone or protective coating for exterior moisture.
